RidePal Adds Shared Commute-Bus Services Between 4 More Bay Area Cities, Reaching the Milestone of 15 Active Routes

San Francisco, California, 17th  August 2012. Today RidePal Inc. announced new daily commute-bus services serving companies located in San Francisco, Mountain View, San Mateo, Menlo Park, Palo Alto, Pleasanton and Fremont. These routes are in addition to RidePal’s existing popular services.

Companies of any size in these cities can now offer the same commuting benefits as the largest companies, in luxury, wifi-enabled buses. Companies can also subsidize rides at any level from 0% to 100%, while employees can use dollars from pretax spending programs towards any contribution they make.

RidePal’s unique shared model means any company can extend their recruiting range, reduce employee turnover, increase employee productivity – and reduce their parking and carbon footprints. Since riders from many companies share the same bus, any one company does not have to support the entire cost: each company or rider pays only for the rides they need.

Nathalie Criou, CEO of RidePal, said: “With the addition of these new routes many more people have access to a commute experience they’ll love”. The new services will especially benefit companies who are finding it difficult to hire and keep the staff they need; Stephanie Kerebel, RidePal Advisor and one of the first Google Transportation Program Managers, noted: “Commuting shuttles are key to recruiting top talent”.

The new services are between:
